Norbert Vollath - Biography

Born 1956 in Parkstein (Bavaria / Germany)

• Plays saxophone and bass-clarinet
• Writing compositions in the field of Jazz and New Music
• Interpretative works from jazz-standards, folk-song, ancient
  and classical music
• Experimental forms of improvised music
• Writing and performing music for:
  
  - bands
  - theatre
  - exhibition openings
  - art projects
  - silent movies
  - TV and radio
  - literature projects

Performed and toured extensively throughout Europe including France, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Holland, Scotland and Ireland.

Some of these performances received support from German Goethe Institute, IMRO, City Council Regensburg, Oberpf.Künstlerhaus Schwandorf.
